Plant Based Super Foods for Families

Learn about the many health benefits of a plant based diet, basic  nutrition, what products are available in the supermarket, why you might want to choose organic and non-GMO foods and transitioning to a more compassionate lifestyle. Handouts will include menus and recipes. Join Susan Rose, vegetarian lifestyle coach, who will also present a simple meditation technique.

Susan Rose has been a vegetarian for over 40 years. She has been cooking and studying nutrition with an emphasis on plant-based whole foods and recently completed a course in Plant Based Nutrition from E-Cornell  and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. Since retiring from a senior executive position in Sales & Marketing from Blue Cross/Blue Shield, she has conducted numerous talks and workshops around the world on the vegetarian lifestyle and is co-editor of a cookbook called Veggies & You.
