Yoga and Tai Chi

Learn how to relax and renew to relieve the stresses of life by making Yoga or Tai Chi a part of your lifestyle.  Classes usually cycle in six-week sessions. Register and pay on the Events Calendar or in-person at the Information Services Desk. Payment benefits the Friends of the Library. Friends support programming for all ages, interests, and abilities.

Tai Chi Classes

Wednesdays from 7 – 8 p.m.
Ellen Gambatese Room

Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance, often described as “meditation in motion.” Register online or in person at the Information Desk.

Tai Chi is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Library.

Mixed Level Yoga & Meditation Classes

Thursdays from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Meeting Room A/B

The class includes a one-hour period of yoga instruction with a half-hour of meditation to follow.  Register online or in person at the Information Desk.

Beginner & Intermediate Yoga

Thursdays from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Meeting Room A/B

The class includes a one-hour period of yoga instruction, with variations in difficulty suitable for new to experienced practitioners. Register online or in person at the Information Desk.
