Bookmobile Schedule Update

The Summer Schedule for the Bookmobile will be extended through Wednesday, September 15, 2010, except for the stops at the Willows Swim Club.  Since the stops at the Summerfield, Southridge Woods and Princeton Manor Club houses are regular year-round stops, we will continue to visit these locations following the summer schedule.  The stops at the Willows Swim Club will stop when the pool closes on September 6. 

As we have done in the past, the Bookmobile will be off the road between the summer and fall schedules to allow the staff a much needed break and to work on preparing the collection for fall visits.  The full fall schedule will start on Friday, October 1, which will be Week B in the rotation.  Look for the new fall schedule to be out sometime during September.   It will be available for pick-up at the library and will be posted here.

The Bookmobile operates five days per week (Tuesday through Saturday), and has a collection of books all its own. Visiting the Bookmobile is a great way to utilize library resources, without having to be at the main library.

Selected neighborhoods are visited at scheduled times during the year. In addition, the Bookmobile visits nursery schools, senior housing, corporate campuses, parks, and various shopping centers around town.

You may request that your reserved books from the main library and other libraries be picked up from the Bookmobile, and you may also drop off your book returns on the Bookmobile. However, books in the Bookmobile collection are never available to fill holds.

All patrons are required to present a valid South Brunswick Library Card or Mural Reciprocal Library Card, to check out library materials.
