Card Policies

Free Card

Anyone residing in South Brunswick is eligible for a free library card with proper identification. Parents or guardians must sign library card application for children under 18. You must have a library card to check out or renew materials.

Paid Card

For a fee of $50.00 a year, this card entitles non-residents to all the privileges that our residents have in our library.

Reciprocal Card

South Brunswick Library Cards can be used at any reciprocal Library in NJ. A list of participating libraries wii be provided upon request. Certain restrictions may apply.

All of the South Brunswick Library audio/video materials must be returned to our library not to their home library.

Non-resident Card

This card is issued to patrons who do not live in South Brunswick or in any of our reciprocal borrowing communities, but work or attend school in South Brunswick. It entitles the borrower to the same privileges as a reciprocal patron. Proper I.D. and proof of eligibility must be provided.
