School Assignment Form – For South Brunswick School Teachers

SBPL staff and recommended resources give you more than one way get your homework done and get it done right. There are no hard ways to a completed assignment here.

Homework Buddies

This peer tutoring program is for children in grades K-12.  Available from October through May on full days that school is in session, this free, drop-in service is offered Monday through Thursday 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

No registration or appointment required. Tutoring is done by students in grades 9-12 who are qualified library volunteers.

Brainfuse 

Get help with homework and basic skills, visit the writing lab, and join an online meeting room for collaboration on school projects. This online tutoring service is suitable for cardholders of all ages.  Tutors are available online Monday through Sunday from 2 to 11 p.m. Library card required for access. Brianfuse is generously sponsored by the SBPL Foundation.

Recommended Homework Resources 

The Teen and Children‘s pages have numerous online homework help resources recommended by SBPL staff. These include reference book suggestions and websites listed by subject.

SBPL Databases

Scroll through SBPL recommended research tools, listed by subject and by grade. Click on the ones most likely to have what you need and review your results. A Library Card is required for access to some databases.

Ask-A-Librarian

This free service connects you to one-on-one online help by a SBPL Librarian.  Messages are answered with up-to-date, accurate information as soon as possible.
