English As A Second Language Services (ESL)

Are you or someone you know learning English as a second language?  The staff at SBPL knows that learning a new language can be challenging. All the resources you may need can be found right here at SBPL.

The Library hosts weekly meetings of both an informal English Conversation Group and also an English as a Second Language (ESL) Class with a certified instructor. Check our Event Calendar for dates and times or contact the Information Desk in person or by phone at 732-329-4000, ext. 7286.

Hundreds of language learning resources are on our shelves in the World Language section of the Library. Here we have English as a Second Language (ESL)  and an Adult Basic Reading (ABR) book and audio collections. A web guide is available to ESL Resources .  Find resources for students and teachers, including ESL testing, classes, and lesson plans.
