Children's Catalog

The Children's Catalog is hosted by the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (LMxAC). The catalog itself is called iBistro. When clicking on a link to iBistro, on the right column, you will be taken off www.sbpl.info and onto www.lmxac.org.

iBistro has many features such as recommended reading lists, best seller lists, etc. However, you will be connected directly to the Kids' Library.

When you connect to iBistro, always log on at the upper right-hand corner of the window to use all of the features that are offered. Your account may be reviewed, items renewed, and holds may be placed on material after logging on. Please call the Library Information Desk at 732-329-4000 x 7286 to request new items that South Brunswick Public Library does not own. You can also Send A Librarian A Question online with your request.

Type your library bar code number (numbers only, no letters) in the first box in the upper right-hand side of the document window. Type your PIN in the box directly below. The PIN for those who received their card before we started using iBistro is changeme . Now PINS are given to patrons when they apply for a library card. You may change your PIN at any time by clicking on MY ACCOUNT after logging on.

To use the new catalog, tap the "Click here" link on the top right column.

Don’t forget to log on before starting to search for a book or reviewing your account. You will not be able to Place Holds without logging in.
