Overview

South Brunswick Public Library's online catalog is called iBistro. It is hosted by the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (LMxAC). When connecting to iBistro via the Click Here links on the left or right column, you will be taken off www.sbpl.info and onto www.lmxac.org.

iBistro has many features such as recommended reading lists, best seller lists, the Kid’s Library, and your items may be renewed or placed on hold. If you can't find a certain item online, the Library may not currently own it, but you can request it by calling the Library Information Desk at 732-329-4000 x 7286.  You can also Send A Librarian A Question online with your request.

To use the new iBistro catalog, tap one of the "Click here" links on the left or right columns. Note that there are two links. The first one is for those who are currently within the Library. The second should be used for those who are outside the Library (home or office).

When you connect to iBistro, always log on at the upper right-hand corner of the window to use all of the features that are offered. Use your library bar code number (numbers only, no letters) in the "Library Card No." box in the upper right-hand side of the LMxAC page. Use your PIN in the box directly below Library Card No. The PIN for those who received their card before we started using iBistro is changeme. Now PINS are given to patrons when they apply for a library card. You may change your PIN at any time by clicking on MY ACCOUNT after logging on.

Don’t forget to log on before starting to search for a book or reviewing your account. You will not be able to Place Holds without logging in.
