COMPUTER CLASSES
Free hands-on basic computer skills classes are taught by SBPL staff. Class topics include Basic Computer Skills, Introduction to Word, Internet Searching, Picasa photo editing software from Google; Gmail; and Facebook Basics. New classes are added based on public interest. Go to Events Calendar and look through the listing or select Computer Training in the Events drop down menu bar for dates and times or Ask A Librarian.

Computer training is also available online through the Library’sLearning Express database. ‘Popular Software Tutorials‘ include Adobe, Corel and Microsoft software packages. Windows and Mac operating systems also offered.

(Link to come) Topics include: Adobe Flash and Photoshop, Computer Basics and Keyboarding, Digital Photography, Dreamweaver, Effective Presentations, Excel, How to Create Web Pages, How to eBay, Internet Fundamentals and Specialist, Intro to PC Trouble Shooting and Repair, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Access, Excel, Project, and Publisher and Photoshop, Virus Removal and Windows 7.
