Welcome

WELCOME!

Thank you for choosing to visit the South Brunswick Public Library - your guide to discovery!  You can find us at our Kingston Lane location, curbside on the bookmobile, or from the web 24/7.  We are at your service when and where you need us, helping you along your life’s journey of discovery.

Our print, digital, and media collections include the classics through current selections in educational and recreational materials. Our numerous programs cover a wide range of interests for every age group every week.  To see what is coming up next just view our website or our bi-monthly Compass newsletter available free online and in the Library.

As a 21st century library, SBPL is at the center of your community, offering nearly 100 free enrichment programs each month.  Topics are based on your community’s need and interest.  We have free film presentations and concerts, seminars, ESL services and programs for families with special needs.  Many of our programs are age specific and others are designed for the whole family.

With your needs in mind, we offer designated computer areas for adultsteenstweens, and families.  We offer free basic skills computer classes throughout the year in our Computer Lab as well as classes based on public interest. Answers to questions about mobile and electronic devices can be found at the Information Desk.

Opportunities for discovery do not end with the school year; they just get a lot more fun.  Our Summer Reading programs offer activities and challenges to encourage all ages to continue reading through the summer months.

With so many different programs and activities, it may look as if our Library tries to be all things to all people.  We hope so!  Please, stop by for a visit and pick up your free Library Card today.  Our staff is here to help guide you on the next step of your life’s journey.
